Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Retail Business Consultant located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia through May 25, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Position Details:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
• Develops
individual and multi-chain service station retailers to improve volume and
store operations and drive customer loyalty
• Ensures
compliance of network to safety, operating standards and governmental
regulations through conducting regular inspections and engagements with
retailers
• Reviews
financial statements and recommend strategies to improve overall operations of
the retailer to meet business plan objectives. Has the ability to proactively
engage and convince retailers to execute recommendations and enhance business
offering
• Provides
leadership to retailers, able to build trust and winning relationship and drive
accountability through retailer network to meet operating standards
• Ensures
compliance of retailer network in implementing approved retailing practices
e.g. wet stock management, merchandising, managing promotional programs
• Committed and
determined to develop good and consistent customer service program through
retailers
• Develops and
maintains team relationship based on integrity, accountability and trust.

Required Qualifications:
• Good bachelor degree in Economics, Business or Marketing is preferred
• With 3 to 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Independent, able to coordinate tight schedules with minimum supervision
• Proficient in both written & spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent people skills and able to work with diverse groups
• Demonstrated good teamwork abilities
• Performance driven, self-motivated and solution orientated
• Should be Malaysian citizen or holds relevant residence status
• Possess valid driving license
